Art of Freehold? You betcha!

CALL FOR ART

Paintings, prints & notecards depicting Freehold? Yes we can!

The Olde Freehold Day Committee has generously offered Freehold Art Society members the opportunity to bring (and sell) their work depicting Freehold at the Olde Freehold Day Art Expo on August 17. Generally about 1000 people attend Olde Freehold Day. If you haven't paid your dues, now is the time & your membership will be extended through September 2020.

We are setting up the art walk (artwork of the lake) on one side of the path and will have our Freehold themed art across the path under a shady tree. A 20% donation from sales to the Lake Topanemus Committee is recommended. Bring your own table or easel. Due to a shortage of volunteers for the Art Expo, we can't man your tables or hang your work, but feel free to team up with other Art Society members or better yet, bring a chair and stay! It will be a lovely day to spend with your family and friends, with food, drinks, vendors and activities, as well as to meet other local artists and even paint. There's picnic tables and shade galore! the website for the contest & expo is https://lakeartcontest.wordpress.com

More details about the art show at the Freehold Art Society's hands-on coffee painting workshop at the library on July 24, 6:30- 8:00 pm or email your questions to freeholdartsociety60@gmail.com

thank you, Jane Gavaghen, Lake Art Show coordinator
